Salvation

Christ’s suffering and Blood of Jesu Christ
When Jesus was crucified, He bled from every pore. His Blood was shed for us, to atone for our sins. In His Greatest Sacrifice, Jesus allowed Himself to be brutally tortured and killed, so that we might have eternal life.
The Bible tells us that “the Lord hath laid on Him the iniquity of us all.” (Isaiah 53:6) Jesus took upon Himself the punishment that we deserved, because of our sins. He was scourged and mocked, and then He was nailed to the Cross. As He was dying, Jesus told His disciples, “It is finished.” (John 19:30)
What He meant was that His Sacrifice was complete. Jesus had died for our sins, and through His death, we can be forgiven and have eternal life. The Blood of Jesus is the source of our salvation.
“But God commendeth His love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.” (Romans 5:8) Jesus loved us so much that He was willing to die for us, even though we were unworthy. His death on the Cross is the ultimate act of love.
The Bible says, “In whom we have redemption through His Blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace.” (Ephesians 1:7) Jesus’ Blood has the power to cleanse us from all sin. When we come to Him in faith, we are forgiven and made clean.
The Blood of Jesus is the most precious thing in the world. It is the antidote to sin, and the means of our salvation. Let us thank Jesus for His sacrifice, and ask Him to forgive us our sins.
