He Has Risen
The phrase “He has risen” is found throughout the Bible and is a declaration of faith in the resurrection of Jesus Christ. The phrase is first found in the Gospel of Mark, when Mary Magdalene goes to the tomb where Jesus was buried and finds it empty. She runs to tell Peter and John, who then go to the tomb and find it empty as well. They are told by a young man dressed in white that Jesus has risen.
The resurrection of Jesus is the cornerstone of Christianity and is what sets it apart from all other religions. Jesus himself said, “I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in me will live, even though he dies; and whoever lives and believes in me will never die” (John 11:25-26).
The resurrection of Jesus not only proves that he is the Son of God, but also that death is not the end. Jesus said, “I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in me will live, even though he dies; and whoever lives and believes in me will never die. Do you believe this?” (John 11:25-26).
Because of Jesus’ resurrection, we can have hope that we will also be resurrected and live with him forever. “But in fact Christ has been raised from the dead, the firstfruits of those who have fallen asleep. For as by a man came death, by a man has come also the resurrection of the dead. For as in Adam all die, so also in Christ shall all be made alive” (1 Corinthians 15:20-22).
The resurrection of Jesus and For our salvation
One of the most important days in history is the day Jesus rose from the dead. This event is so significant that even non-believers recognize it as an important day. Easter is celebrated as the day Jesus rose from the dead and is a time of reflection for Christians all around the world.
There are many theories about what happened on that day, but the Bible is clear that Jesus rose from the dead. This event is proof of Jesus’ divinity and is the foundation of our faith. Because Jesus rose from the dead, we have hope that we will too. This is why Easter is such a special time – it is a time to celebrate the hope we have in Jesus.
What Jesus did on Easter is such an important part of our faith that it is at the core of what we believe. It is because of Easter that we know that Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Him (John 14:6).
Jesus’ resurrection is also important because it proves that death is not the end. We all die, but because Jesus rose from the dead, we know that death is not the end. We have hope that we will see Jesus again and be with Him forever.
Easter is a time to celebrate the hope we have in Jesus. He is our Savior and through Him, we have eternal life.
>Conclusion
The resurrection of Jesus is the most important event in human history. It is the event that gives us hope for eternal life.
